Historically Brunel’s boat building yard; now multi tenanted high end residential flats.

The Brief:

To create a scheme for the entrance foyers in-keeping with the nautical theme using existing artefacts.

Concept design:

We used Oak slatted panelling, to wrap around the walls covering the existing alarm panels, with concealed access. We created cut-out sections in the panelling for the artefacts to be inserted and lit from behind to enhance them as a feature.  The floor surface is a plank effect ceramic tile creating the illusion of decking.  We used stainless steel features and predominantly grey nuances to maintain the industrial feel of the estate.
