An Edwardian period family house in London – Complete refurbishment

The Brief:

To create an elegant interior scheme throughout with original features and Edwardian period accessories, incorporating classic features for modern living.

Design Concept:

This four bedroom house was in need of some TLC. We overhauled and re-painted the original sash windows; removed existing radiators and installed original reconditioned Edwardian radiators; stripped, stained and polished the timber floors; had bespoke wardrobes and storage installed to appear original by matching existing architectural features. We created an elegantly styled bathroom in-keeping with the period; we stripped out the existing kitchen and had bespoke units installed. By using existing appliances we were able to spend on luxurious finishes for worktops and tiles. We used subtle tonal colours throughout to create a calm cohesive interior for this family home.
